Course Description:

This competency-based course is designed to provide students with an introduction to the concepts of computer and network security. Communications, infrastructure, operational and organizational security and cryptography will be covered. This course helps prepare the student for the CompTIA Security+ exam. The instruction and skill development will provide students a foundation for continued training in this field and provide entry-level employment skills in assorted computer related occupations.
